My Village
	Calella is a small village, on the Mediterranean coast of Catalonia, near Barcelona. It is a very touristy village because there is a big beach. In the center of the village there is an old church. There are also many discos and bars that open until late. In the village there is a medieval market. They put stands with traditional food, handicrafts and typical products from the village. The market it situated in the main square in the middle of the village. There are many hotels with swimming pools that are full in the summer. There is also a camping near the lighthouse. We usually rent an apartment in the summer, in August. I spend my holidays on the beach. I go to the disco in the evening and I stay on the beach with my friends in a little house. I have a lot of friends there, we meet every summer. They live in the same area and I go over there to meet them and swim in the swimming pool. Sometimes there are activities where they live: painting, dancing, chess… I like spending the summer in Calella with my friends.
