Vicenç Square
Sant Vicenç Square is
a place in Sarrià which has a nice fountain in the middle.
Sant Vicenç is the patron of the saint of Sarrià and he
used to be in the Major Square, but probably someone thought that this
statue could be better in a peaceful peace familiar and quiet. There are
trees around and old houses that give the area lovely atmosphere. This
square has kept the houses and has survived to the speculation of the
land. Sarrià was a village which became part of Barcelona but it
never lost its personality and it was a favourite place for the wealthy
people. It is very well communicated and a very nice place for chatting.
I used to go there with my grandfather when I was very young. I played
there with my friends and drunk the water from the fountain.
