PLAZA MONTCADA

This is a historical square because a lot of years ago the Montcada family visited Barcelona and they were very important. In this square lived many important people. It's a little square where there're a few houses. These houses used to have a very big balcony because the wife usually sat and read a book and the rest of the people saw her. The houses have big entrances, too.
This square is situated at the beginning of the most important street in Gracia and was very important. In Montcada square we can see that the road is made of stone and the façades are made of stone ,too. There're two palm trees in the square and It's very unusual because palm trees are from the beach. The people who live in these houses want to show that these families were very rich. Now, Montcada square isn't important but it has an interesting past.
