square is the "Plaça del Diamant" ,which is located in
Gràcia. It was built in 1880. The square is about 50x40 metres. The
square has a rectangular shape and six streets surround it. Cars can go
around the square because there is a pavement adapted for this purpose.
The buildings around the square date back from the years 1870-1880, but
there are new buildings, too.
Beneath the square there is
an air-raid shelter, that was built in 1936, for the Spanish Civil War.
The name of the square comes from a jeweller.
