It's a modernistic building, a very developed art in Barcelona at the end of the XIX century, that combinse the bigger arts with the smaller arts.
In this façade appears how smaller arts the carefully-worked colour glasses, the iron and the paving stone. It predominates the curved lines.
It makes reference to nature, how we can look at the set design at the top of the door.

It is a very nice place and I'm sure Barcelona is very proud of that chemist and also about the Ramblas. I always have a minute to look at it.
