The architect
Jeroni F. Granell is well known also for his project in Girona 122. Historians
say that he was one of the first prerationalist. It is a very symmetrical
building and it has columns on the corners. That was a very typical device
to these buildings. The bay balconies which are in every corner are the
main feature in this building.
Two floors were added to this building but I don't know when. There are many capitels . This architect used many flower decoration for this building.
The most beautiful part of this building are the stained glasses windows which are thought they were made by the famous firm Rigalt I Granell.
The front door is made of wood and it looks very modernist.. The balconies are made of iron. Barcelona was a place where iron was nicely worked and it was a very important and famous industry.
