It's a very
big house. The façade has five towers with "punxes".
The architect used popular and tradicional the elements. "La casa
de les punxes" is the most unusual architectural example of the period.
The appearance is medieval. The façade is made with stone and moon.
The façade has images of religious motifs, the colours are very
dark . All the façade has many glass windows. It is modernist art,
the façade has arcs. The house has many big doors. The façade
has a rectangular shape. The characteristic is the punxes of the towers.
Puig i Cadalfach was the architect and the house was owned by the three
Terrades sisters. They joined together the three houses. They did not
look like the typical apartment blocks for renting. They were a bit far
from the centre when it was built and there were fields around. I love
it. It's really beautiful.
